CesiumAstro, headquartered in Texas and operating additional facilities in Colorado, California, the United Kingdom, and Germany, specializes in satellite systems, high-performance communications payloads, and advanced computing technologies. In related news, highlighting Texas’ broader technology momentum, Tekscend Photomask Round Rock Inc. is expanding its semiconductor manufacturing operations with the help of a $15.2 million grant from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund. The Round Rock expansion represents more than $223 million in capital investment, will create 50 new jobs, and increase production capacity by more than 40%. The project also upgrades technology capabilities to support advanced chip manufacturing used in AI, automotive, industrial, and wireless applications.
Together, the two projects underscore Texas’s growing influence in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and semiconductor supply chains.
