Texas A&M University is returning to SXSW 2026 with an expanded four-day presence in Austin, deepening its partnership with Fast Company to spotlight innovation as a “force for good.”
From March 13–15, Texas A&M will join the Fast Company Grill at the Cedar Door, a key SXSW networking hub, showcasing research and innovation in food, medicine, and energy through interactive exhibits and panels.
R. Ethan Braden, Texas A&M’s Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, will join Fast Company leaders and industry executives on a panel discussing how purpose-driven brands build trust and cultural relevance.
New Programming: “In Good Company”
On March 16, Texas A&M and Fast Company will co-host “In Good Company,” a full day of conversations on innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

Signature Activation: Portable Medical Clinic
On March 16, Texas A&M will unveil a shipping container converted into a fully functional portable medical clinic, designed by the student organization BUILD. This installation will demonstrate innovation and service, inviting attendees to help create an interactive mural inside.
This expanded SXSW presence positions Texas A&M at the intersection of innovation, culture, and purpose, showcasing its research, leadership, and service on a global stage.
