Concentric, a national industrial power and maintenance company headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, has acquired Critical Components Inc. (CCI) as part of a strategy to strengthen its capabilities in data center infrastructure, critical power, and precision cooling services.
CCI, based in Atlanta, is well-known across the Southeast for supporting data centers, industrial facilities, healthcare organizations, and other mission-critical environments with specialized power and cooling solutions. Following the acquisition, CCI’s leadership team will take on an expanded role within Concentric to help meet rising demand from customers operating critical infrastructure.
Concentric President and CEO John Winter said data centers increasingly require localized expertise supported by enterprise-scale resources to keep pace with growth, resilience, and speed requirements. He noted that CCI has already built a strong reputation serving some of the world’s largest data center customers and will play a key role in Concentric’s goal of offering a comprehensive, one-stop platform for critical power and cooling services nationwide.
By combining Concentric’s power solutions with CCI’s technical expertise and long-standing industry relationships, the companies aim to address better the rapidly evolving needs of the data center market. The acquisition comes as demand for AI, cloud computing, and advanced digital infrastructure places greater pressure on data centers to deliver reliable, scalable power and cooling systems.
Scott Cockerham, founder and CEO of CCI, said the partnership allows his team to scale more effectively while continuing to solve complex power and cooling challenges. With Concentric’s broader geographic footprint and resources, CCI will be positioned to support customers as their infrastructure requirements grow across the U.S. and beyond.
