William Chris Wine Company has launched Rebecca Caroline, a new sparkling wine brand made entirely from Texas-grown grapes, expanding the Texas Hill Country winery’s portfolio.
Named after the combined middle names of co-founders Chris and Katharine Brundrett’s daughters, the brand reflects the company’s family-driven philosophy and highlights Texas sparkling wine’s growing potential.
According to Chris Brundrett, co-founder and CEO of William Chris Wine Company, the new label represents both a tribute to family and a commitment to the future of Texas wine.
“Sparkling wine is one of the fastest-growing categories in the country, and we’re bringing it to Texas,” Brundrett said. “With Rebecca Caroline, we celebrate Texas grapes using the traditional method while shaping the future of Texas wine.”
Texas-Grown Sparkling Wines
Rebecca Caroline focuses on traditional method sparkling wines crafted exclusively from Texas-grown grapes to showcase the region’s unique terroir.
The brand introduces the R.C. Express Wine Club, a membership program inspired by the Pony Express offering access to limited sparkling wine releases, seasonal shipments, and exclusive winery experiences.
New Tasting Room Planned in Historic Hye
A Rebecca Caroline tasting room will open in summer 2026 inside the historic Hye Post Office on Highway 290 in Hye, Texas. The space will blend Texas history with a modern sparkling wine tasting experience.
Meanwhile, visitors can explore the brand through the R.C. Cellar Experience at William Chris Vineyards, a reservation-only 90-minute tasting available Friday through Sunday.
Founded in 2008, William Chris Vineyards has become a leading voice in Texas winemaking and was previously ranked No. 31 on the World’s 50 Best Vineyards list, making it the first Texas winery to achieve the distinction.
