Construction Resources Company has officially entered the Texas market through its acquisition of The Jarrell Company, a Dallas-based distributor specializing in luxury appliances, plumbing fixtures, and lighting products. The deal expands Construction Resources’ presence into one of the country’s fastest-growing construction regions.
The Jarrell Company operates kitchen and bath showrooms serving homebuilders, interior designers, and contractors throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and Lubbock. Following the acquisition, Jarrell’s president, Eric Neel, and the existing leadership team will continue overseeing daily operations, maintaining continuity for customers and partners.
Construction Resources CEO Mitch Hires said the company was drawn to Jarrell’s strong leadership and service-focused culture. He noted that the acquisition allows Construction Resources to invest in growth while strengthening its ability to deliver premium design-oriented products to builders and designers across Texas.
The move enhances Construction Resources’ portfolio of high-end building products and provides a strategic foothold in a rapidly expanding construction market. By pairing Jarrell’s established showroom network and customer relationships with Construction Resources’ national scale, the company aims to improve service levels and product offerings throughout the region.
The acquisition aligns with Construction Resources’ broader expansion strategy following its purchase by The Home Depot in December 2023. The company continues to grow through targeted investments that broaden its geographic reach and deepen its product selection for professional contractors and designers nationwide.
